Description

Vintage (or possibly antique) industrial steel metal tall shelving unit with 18 pigeonholes, made in the 1940s probably, though possibly earlier. They definitely have a military feel and may well be wartime. Original dark green paint. Each cubby hole has a sloping front to stop stuff falling out. Most of the shelves are labelled "missile" in hand painted lettering, hence my tendency to wonder whether they might have been military.. Condition isn't bad structurally: there are some dents and minor mangles, but it's essentially sound. Likewise cosmetically: there's lots of scuffs, scratches, bumps etc and general powdery rust going on (though nothing structural). One bit of silver paint for some reason (see pics). But overall pretty much in keeping with the character of the piece. Dimensions: 99cm x 32cm x 183cm high (each section 30cm x 28cm x 30cm)
